Project SEARCH Mock Interviews
Practice makes perfect! Project SEARCH interns had their first round of mock interviews today. Individuals from Welch College and the community volunteered to interview our students to help them prepare for the workforce.
Project SEARCH is a class for high school graduates with disabilities that provide on the job training and the skills they need to be productive citizens in our community. The program is possible through a partnership between Sumner County Schools, Welch College, Vocational Rehabilitation and The Access Program.
In 2021, our Project SEARCH / Special Education teams earned a national title when they were awarded the Excellent Employment Outcome Award for placing 70-90% of our students in the work force.
