At Sumner County Schools, we believe in utilizing a strong support staff that keeps our facilities in top shape.

Our maintenace and custodial staff maintain 51 buildings throughout our county ranging in age from one year old to 62 years old.

The Maintenance Department performs over 20,000 work orders each year,  from small repairs to HVAC replacement and air quality testing, on over 5 million square feet of total floor space.

Our Transportation Department maintains and operates over 200 buses that travel over 6,000 miles a day and over 1 million miles a year.
